Gluten and Dairy Free Fruit Crumble.

Everyone has their own version of crumble. Mine has to be one full to the brim of fruit, sugar on top and swimming in Custard!
At work on Tuesday, one of my colleagues brought in 2 massive carrier bags worth of cooking apples and my brain went into overdrive!
I have so many different recipes I want to try containing apples; Apple Sauce, Apple Turnover, Apple Crumble etc.
Crumble was first to conquer!
It was really easy and simple to make and went down a storm!
I served my portion with a massive serving on Alpro Custard.

Ingredients.
  • 3 Large Cooking Apples.
  • 3 Tablespoons of Gluten Free Plain Flour.
  • 3 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar.
  • 3 Teaspoons of Dairy Free Butter.
  • A Handful of Mixed Berries - I used frozen ones for convenience.

  1. Peel the Apples and cut into chunks.
  2. Place apples in a pan with a drop of water and a tablespoon of sugar.
  3. Cook until they have softened slightly.
  4. In a separate bowl add the flour, brown sugar and butter. Rub together until a crumbly mixture forms.
  5. Add in the Mixed berries into the saucepan, and once mixed together place at the bottom of your serving dish.
  6. Sprinkle on the crumble mix and place in the oven.
  7. Cook for 15 minutes.
  8. Serve with custard and enjoy!

Love Lucy xoxo
