My Protein Post Workout Smoothie

So this year I've become a massive lover of exercise and going to the gym. I love how it make me feel, I have more energy, I feel happier, and I'm noticing my clothes become a bit looser! (Always a bonus) 
But I am now taking it a step further and adding in a lot more weight workouts into my schedule, which I enjoy so much more!! So that means I get to up my carbs for energy and I can overdose on protein.
I have tested out many different protein powders but My Protein are THE best site I have found. I also love that being Gluten and Dairy free is not an issue as they have a Soy Protein Blend which is perfect!
I purchased the Vanilla flavour, but they also have Strawberry Cream, Chocolate or Unflavoured. I add it into all of the smoothies but below is my favourite recipe for a post workout protein hit.

Ingredients.

  • 2 Bananas 
  • 1 and a half scoops of My Protein Vanilla Soy Blend.
  • 1 Tablespoon of Almond Butter.
  • 300 ml Almond Milk.


  1. Peel and Chop the Bananas.
  2. Add all ingredients to your blender.
  3. Blend for 2 minutes.
  4. Enjoy!!
