Nutribrex Brunch

So on Saturday 23rd I travelled down to London to for the launch of Nutribrex' new exciting! I attended with my friend Mishka and we both really enjoyed getting a taxi through London and being able to see more sights!

Nutribrex (formally Nutribix) are a growing brand who are experts in making wheat biscuit cereals, without the wheat.
The biscuits are made from Wholegrain Sorghum (I've never heard of it either!) which is an ancient cereal crop from Africa and is naturally gluten free.

The setting for this wonderful brunch was in The Hoxton in Shoreditch, a wonderful, quirky hotel which had a beautiful conservatory in front of you as you walk in. The open roof, marble tables and gorgeous greenery, it was just the perfect setting.

We started with a talk from James who is the CEO of Nutribrex who introduced the new flavour of Coconut and Crispy Rice'. I tried these at the allergy show, trust me, they're amazing!

Then Ceri Jones stepped forward to show off her magical creations. She opened my eyes to the idea of using Nutribrex biscuits to bake with, i.e. as a flour! The thought had never even crossed my mind, so when she told us that she had created recipes such as bread and pancakes, I was so eager to try them! And Ceri you did not disappoint!

The spread we had to offer included Granola, Avocado on Toast, Banana Bread, Blueberry Pancakes, energy balls, Smoothies, Cucumber Water and fruit platters. Basically a food bloggers dream!

Naturally, my curiosity (and appetite) meant I had to try a bit of everything. My particular favourite being the avocado on toast. The bread was super tasty and soft with a lovely flavour. I particularly loved the fact that it wasn't dry or falling apart! I always have trouble making bread, its one of those things that no matter how hard I try, I always fail. But I am definitely going to try this recipe out!

It was a lovely morning, eating, trying new recipes and meeting bloggers who I interact with daily on social media. I could finally put faces to their names!

The new Nutribrex is out in Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Ocado, to name a few. Try the store locator  here to find them near you, you wont be disappointed.

Thanks Nutribrex for a lovely day, I can't wait to get baking!!

Love Lucy xoxo
